Goals

There’s a reason everyone has had to write their goals in school or on new years. It gives people a moment to think about what they would like to work on most or accomplish for the near or far future. Goals give you motivation and help you think about how you’re going accomplish them. If you’re planning on setting goals, write them down and tell other people about them, because you’re more likely to accomplish those goals if other people know about them. I have always loved setting goals because it gives me an idea of what I want to aim for in the future. I think goals can help you become a better person and achieve what you want to achieve.

Here is a list of my grade 9 goals and visions:

Travel: My travel goals aren’t really places I want to go, they’re more things I want to do while traveling. My biggest goal is to plan a 2 week trip on my own for my mom and I to go on, and pay for my part. I’m actually pretty excited to plan that trip because I love planning things. Goal number 2 is that I would like to try to bring as little stuff as possible when I travel, and I’ve decided, instead of bringing a suitcase, I’m going to bring my backpack. To do that I’ll probably have to take out a lot of little things I would normally take traveling, like an airplane pillow and lots of shoes.

Mental Health: My main goal for grade 9 is stress management. Grade 8 was super stressful for me because I tended to push myself in school work to a point where I was stressed all the time and put all my hours into perfecting my work. So this is why my main focus is to learn how to deal with stress properly, and I’ll be starting with meditation.

Academics: This blog is my biggest project by far for grade 9. By having this blog, I’m working on my english writing skills, my typing skills, a bit of coding and SEO, and research for writing for the web. My blog goal is to inform other people what worldschooling is, how it works and why it’s becoming more and more popular. Also I want to learn how to promote my blog and put ads on it. We have lots of other little academic goals but I won’t get into detail about them.
